My Story
My Passion for food and cooking started when I was a child, maybe 7 or 8. Food has always been a huge part of my family's culture. My maternal grandfather was 100% Italian and both of his parents came to America via Ellis Island from Italy and settled in Bayridge, Brooklyn. My great-grandmother taught my Polish grandmother how to cook. And damn did she teach her how to cook!
Anything worth doing, is worth doing RIGHT!
Growing up I would always go to my Grandma's house and anything I ate just always seemed to be next LEVEL DELICIOUS! So from a young age was birthed my passion to cook incredibly delicious food and source incredible ingredients. My grandfather, being the leader, teacher, mentor, & backbone of our family, always prided himself on obtaining the finest, freshest, & highest grade food that could be found. From fresh produce, fresh mozzarella, aged cheeses and cured meats, dry aged USDA PRIME BEEF, it always had to be best! When I got out into the world on my own I was traveling the globe as a Merchant Marine Officer navigating Large Containerships and Oil Tankers; I always made sure to go ashore and try the finest food that country had to offer.

As a chef nothing makes me happier than watching people enjoy their food. It is so satisfying to see someone's eyes roll back and say "oh my god this soo good!"
